We are an ANBI status – Public Beneficial Organization
The Museum of Contemporary Tibetan Art (MOCTA) is qualified as an ANBI Status, registered with the Tax Authorities as a General Benefit Institution. It is a Public Benefit Organization ANBI (Algemeen nut beogende instelling) because it meets all conditions and all efforts are entirely committed to the public benefit.
- An institution can only be an ANBI if it is at least 90% committed to public benefit.
- An ANBI does not pay Dutch inheritance tax or gift tax on inheritances.
- An ANBI does not pay Dutch gift tax on gifts that the organisation awards to the public benefit.
- Natural and legal persons who donate to an ANBI can deduct their gifts from their Dutch income tax or corporate income tax.

Our Museum has been designated by the Tax Authorities as a Public Benefit Institution (ANBI). Without donations from donors, we at Museum of Contemporary Tibetan Art, cannot fulfill our mission for the preservation of Tibetan Art and Culture. We are therefore happy with any donation. Donate with Tax Benefits
Benefit organizations (ANBI’s) can request an ANBI status from the Tax Authorities. The Museum of Contemporary Tibetan Art has the status of cultural ANBI. This means that donating to the Museum can yield a tax benefit. Donors of cultural ANBI benefit from extra tax benefits, because they are subject to an extra high donation deduction
Our Museum has been designated by the Tax Authorities as a Public Benefit Institution (ANBI). This means that as a donor you can take advantage of tax benefits. As a private individual or company, you can make a personal contribution to the Museum in the form of a gift or legacy.
Tax benefit for donors of a cultural ANBI
ANBI status brings tax benefits and is therefore advantageous for donors. This applies to both single and periodic donations. Donors to an ANBI may, under certain conditions, deduct their donations from income or corporate tax.
Museum of Contemporary Tibetan Art does not have to pay tax on donations and inheritances received.This allows us to use the donated money 100% for our intended purposes.

Objective
- Maintaining the Museum of Contemporary Tibetan Art
- To collect, loan and manage objects relating to Tibetan and Buddhist artefacts, traditional Thangka paintings and ancient scriptures derived from the sacred Buddhist sutras
- Maintaining, keeping on loan, managing and improving the collection thus accumulated collection, as well as the conservation of objects belonging to the aforementioned collection
- Making the public aware of the objects described, as well as informing the public about the informing the public about the manufacture of the aforementioned objects, the social and cultural backgrounds associated with these objects and the periods in which these objects were manufactured
- Presenting parts of the collection in their mutual context
- Also everything that is directly or indirectly related to the above or can be all in the broadest sense of the word
Monthly meetings
Monthly meetings take place among the board members of Tibet House Foundation Holland.
Remuneration policy
