Tashi Norbu at the Hofpoort Theatre

Tibetan artist Tashi Norbu of the Museum of Contemporary Tibetan Art / Emmen will give a live Painting Performance accompanied by classical musicians.
During this Live painting performance the Artist will create a Contemporary Tibetan Painting on a canvas of 2x5 meters during 45 minutes. The invited classical European Musicians for this event are Harpist Diana Saraswati de Vries, Xavier Boot as Pianist, Christy Von Beansprout as percussionist and Vocals in combination with Tibetan Mantras and Visual image of the performer “Tibetan Buddhist Monk” Azer Cirttan. There will be surprising contemporary dance movements inspired by the Ancient Buddhist sculptures of Ajanta and Allora Caves from India. Lately, we had the pleasure of the presence of Director's Hofpoort Theatre to our Museum, Ms Saskia, who had the chance to watch Tashi Norbu's live performance during Color Run Emmen festival.
